The Wenlock Arms in London is an unspoiled, historic pub (surviving two world wars, including having a bomb destroy the brewery next door) and a primary destination for cask beer in that city, plus a valuable asset for the local community. It has won many awards from CAMRA over the years. Now the unthinkable could happen: imminent closure and demolition. This is a call to arms to rally and help save it - see the threads on Facebook at SAVE THE WENLOCK.This is a really serious issue, please take some time to help if you can. This characterful pub is iconic and must be saved, razing it would be a terrible loss to all of us - and for future generations who would never experience the magic of a session at The Wenlock.
